Being part of a large brand where similar products are manufactured has its pros and cons. Where a large brand can provide security, buying power and other resources which can be attractive for a smaller brand. On the other hand, when looking to establish an individual identity from the parent company they may be met with some difficulties.
Le Sueur approached us to craft an individual identity as they set out to become a distinct brand. We worked closely with their senior team and provided in-depth creative sessions both as an internal team (our team) and then as a group to arrive at a point where Le Sueur would position itself as stand alone brand.
Once the identity was perfect, we moved on to create an entire ecosystem to support their market position and value proposition. These items included their very own website, social media integration, landing pages and couponing systems.
Duties: Concept, art direction, design
Designer Props: What we set out to do was accomplished within an inflexible timeframe. Showing the client the value of having a design team allowed them to move forward with a new identity for both on and off line capacities. A note of thanks was delivered from the senior executive that we worked closely with and shortly thereafter, our work was being pushed out for the world to see.
