Finlandia Vodka celebrates the very best of Finland and allows friends around the world to celebrate with their premium spirits. As they rolled out a new campaign, Finlandia Vodka re-imagined their brand with the global message of “To the Life Less Ordinary”.
To further their brand and campaign message, a photo application was designed and developed by our group so fans could capture a moment and make the photo “Less Ordinary” using Finlandia’s library of filters and inspirational quotes.
Users were encouraged to write their own quotes and share these photos via Facebook. Extending this idea into the social space we created a "Less Ordinary" quiz for users to determine what type of personality they possessed which they then could share with friends.
Duties: Concept, art direction & design
Team Props: We knew that our performance would be looked at very closely; and so, we took a benchmark/snapshot of campaigns before our work began so we would be able to validate our efforts later on. The team really worked well together and anticipated the client’s needs- even gave them some things to consider for future use, with the hopes that we’d get the work. This campaign performed “quite well” as per one company executive and overall, the executives were very happy with the results.
